LOCATION: AL ANSAR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL is a spacious, ultra modern school ideally located in Sharjah. The school was established in the year 2001 in the Al Ghubaiba area of Sharjah. In September 2009 the school was shifted to its present location in Al-Gharayen-3 area of Sharjah.
BUILDING: The school is centrally air-conditioned and well ventilated and proper care is taken to ensure that the cleanliness, sanitation and hygienic condition of the campus are maintained. We are now in the fortunate position of providing a new wing for the Kindergarten and Grade 1, 2 and 3 classes. Grades 4 to 12 Boys and girls are accommodated in separate section.
CLASS ROOMS: Each classroom is equipped with student friendly furniture and with a Datashow Projector.
AUDITORIUM: An auditorium with modern amenities where functions and meetings are held.
LIBRARY: A rich and dynamic collection of books on various subjects, reference books, Biographies and Autobiographies, Thesaurus, Fiction, Audio-visual aids, etc. are available.
SCIENCE LABORATORY (PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, and BIOLOGY): The school has three different science labs for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These Labs provide knowledge regarding the concepts, use of apparatus and chemicals, carrying out instructions manually in practical demonstrations, description of observation made while performing the practicals, presentation skills, slide preparation, specimen viewing techniques etc.
COMPUTER LABORATORY: To develop basic understanding of IT operations and information, the School has three Computer laboratories .One each for Grades 1 to 3 sections, Grades 4 to 12 Boys section and Grades 4 to 12 Girls section respectively. They are equipped with latest hardware and software to meet the needs of students. Based on the Cambridge International Curriculum, laboratories have latest multimedia, web technology and tools to develop basic IT skills.
ART AND CRAFT ROOM: The Art & Craft room has all the required facilities to teach aesthetic sensibilities. Students are taught painting, sketching, block printing, origami, portrait painting, embroidery, making collages etc.
ACTIVITY ROOM: The Activity Room for KG children is furnished with all modern gadgets to provide an ambience of learning while playing. Activities like block designing, abacus, colour combination, identification of letters and figures etc are carried out in a fun way.
PLAY GROUND: The school has a shaded play ground catering to the sports requirements of the students in the extreme climate also. It is also well equipped with Basketball, Volleyball and Football play areas. Outdoor facilities for KG include sand pits, ladders, swings, slides, see-saws etc for their recreation and balanced growth.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION ROOM: The Physical Education room is equipped with indoor games like carom, chess, table tennis etc.
CLINIC: The school has two clinics with modern medical equipment and is managed by a qualified doctor and has well experienced nurses to administer first aid and deal with cases of emergency.
CANTEEN: The school has a canteen which caters to the balanced diet of the students with nutritious food and drinks.
TRANSPORT: Transport is provided by the school in well maintained air conditioned buses covering Sharjah, Dubai, Ajman and Umm Al Qaiwain
STORE ROOM: Textbooks, notebooks, school uniform, etc. are always available at the school store.
